  • The candidate will support mission/program specific real time operations.
  • Candidate will participate as a member of an integrated customer/contractor team that performs systems engineering and integration for an operational system.
  • Provides assistance to develop, gather and document basic technical data for company products and system-level concepts in the projected operational environments to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle.
  • Assists with the application of systems engineering processes, methodologies and tools to the design of basic system of systems, systems and new product development.
  • Provides assistance to derive and define architectures, functional requirements, refinements and product designs.
  • Works under close supervision.


  • Use best practices to plan, coordinate, and monitor to ensure the successful delivery of capabilities and services to the baseline(s). Activities include, change implementation planning, software and hardware installation and integration planning, systems decommissioning planning, ground system relocation planning, continuity of operations planning, and power outage planning.
  • Identify projects and tasks required to deliver enterprise services efficiently and develop project plans that are in alignment with policies, standards, and agreements.
  • Provide technical support to project readiness activities including technical assessment of factory support activities and baseline delivery content as it relates to supporting mission operations.
  • Provide support to establish delivery schedules and facilitate readiness reviews at sites with emphasis on testing, integration and transition activities at the sites for all major modifications to the operational baseline.
  • Monitor continuity and compliance with government and Systems Engineering (SE) governance processes and report potential non-compliance to the Government team.
  • Generate project plans to include documenting and updating the tasks and the activities to be completed for each project delivering enterprise services or conducting enterprise activities.
  • Review and coordinate project documentation and activities in support of integration, operational training, deployment, transition, and maintenance of systems and services delivered to the Enterprise.
  • Review Request for Change (RFCs) and Service Request (SRs) submissions and generate Project Plans, as required to implement requested actions.
  • Provide technical support for discrepancy impact assessment, fault isolation and recovery to include tracking assignment, disposition and closure of Discrepancy Report (DR) records and providing interfaces with site systems and personnel for status and problem report tracking.
  • Coordinate Project Plans and other project documentation by conducting or participating in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), working groups, and attending applicable governance boards.
  • Perform actions/events and coordinate to ensure successful approval, delivery/installation, and operations of enterprise capabilities and/or services.
  • Produce Project, Implementation, and Transition plans covering the activation, installation, upgrade/maintenance, deactivation, and removal of enterprise capabilities/services that reside on an extended IT infrastructure enterprise.



Basic Qualifications (Requirements):

  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • Technical bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
