The candidate should have experience in creating 2D drawings from 3D models to supply documentation to construction vendors. Additional experience in creating 3D models and assemblies within an Aerospace or large structures environment is preferred.
Designer should be able to manipulate or modify existing components, subassemblies, assemblies and create associated layout drawings. This individual will also be responsible for checking all internal and external technical documents, as well as, evaluating proposed designs for integrity of function and design. Experience with NASA engine test stand structures is a plus. Experience needed in PTC Creo 2, Windchill, GD&T, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Associate's degree in technical area highly desired.
Bachelor’s Degree in aerospace or defense industry desired but not required.
Experience in NASA or Aerospace Engine Test Structure Programs is preferred.
