Responsibilities

  • Essential role in fueling Geocent’s growth with exceptional talent by recruiting qualified candidates to fill company openings
  • Utilizes internet resume databases, employee referrals, cold calling, and social networking as well as other creative sourcing activity techniques to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner
  • Works closely with recruiting team, hiring managers and other employees to develop recruiting strategy plans to meet hiring demands and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating quality candidate flow to meet recruiting goals
  • Provides regular feedback on status of recruiting activity and any challenges being faced
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of the company’s hiring process
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date job postings
  • Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation in company’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) on all candidates, including hiring managers interactions, EEOC information, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit (if required)
  • Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness
  • Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques to stay competitive in recruiting practices
  • Schedules and attends networking events, meetups, career fairs and/or other recruiting related activities.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 proven years of full-life cycle recruiting experience required
    • Government Defense contracting environment is preferred
    • Recruiting for IT professionals is preferred
  • Bachelor degree in business, communications, or English is preferred
  • Ability to grasp new technologies quickly; experience with ATS (iCIMS or similar), Sharepoint, O365 is preferred
  • Ability to identify potential candidates through networking, cold calling and web sourcing
  • Expert level internet search and networking skills to contact and engage passive talent
  • Ability to work independently and/or often in a remote capacity
  • Exceptional communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized in planning and time management with the ability to multi task
  • Knowledge of employment laws, OFCCP and EEO regulations, and standard HR practices and procedures is preferred
  • Flexible schedule to work non-traditional office hours (as needed)
  • Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality in handling sensitive/employee information
