Provides detailed design support for advanced development.

Projects include:

• CAD modeling and drawings including ASME Y14.41 GD&T
• Review component designs and planned/performed testing to ensure compliance to contract requirements
• Evaluate/propose alternate design/test approaches to meeting requirements
• Determine credibility of design/test solutions proposed by Partners
• Provide risk classification to any deviations to requirements
• Communicate lessons learned and best practice information to Partner
• Test procedures and test fixture design

Degree in Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university is required. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a minimum of a Masters with at least 3 years of experience, or BS with at least 5 years of experience.

Required:

• Industry valve experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in CREO or similar CAD programs
• Experience in Design and development of valves, valve actuators, piping, tubing, fluid connectors, and/or other miscellaneous fluid system components, Cryogenic components and systems, Propulsion system component design, analysis, engine integration and development/verification testing.
