We are searching for a subject matter expert to support Core Stage Propulsion integration at MAF. Working in a highly integrated team, you will perform integration activities across Core Stage Subsystems and across Elements to enable the design, integration, test, and operation of the SLS. The Core Stage structural mechanical systems include support beams and struts, structures, LOX and Hydrogen propellant tanks, feedlines, fluids, propellants, plumbing, piping, actuators, valves, sensors, avionic supports, TPS and fasteners.
Working independently and in an integrated, collaborative team, your responsibilities would include:
A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace or from an ABET accredited institution is required. Typical educational requirements are the equivalent of a Masters with at least 28 years of related mechanical or aerospace engineering or BS with at least 30 years of related mechanical or aerospace engineering experience.
