    The Contract Manager position is responsible for the administration of contracts and the centralized contracting function in support of company marketing, operational and procurement activity, or in the audit/review of those activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Negotiates and administers company contracts of various types (firm fixed-price, cost-plus, T&M, etc.), and performs commonly used contracting methods related to pre-award, post-award and/or price/cost analysis functions.
    • Represents Geocent as a key contract point of contact with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors, as well as with the government.
    • Analyzes and enforces contract compliance, including compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations.
    • Manages contract deliverables and deliverable schedules.
    • Performs contract commencement and termination procedures.
    • Participates in company proposal efforts, including cost proposals and price/rate development.
    • Prepares requests for proposals; participates in procurement procedures and techniques; analyzes prices, previous performance and financial viability, and recommends the most advantageous offers.
    • Drafts contract provisions and supporting documents; composes memoranda, minutes, and reports.
    • Assists in the development and improvement of policies and procedures relative to the Contracts Department.
    • Maintains contract records.
    • Protects the confidentiality of all company information, and adheres to the highest standards of professional and ethical behavior.

    Required Education and Experience

    High School diploma, and at least two years of experience in federal government procurement and contracting.

    Desired Education and Experience

    Bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of experience in federal government procurement and contracting.
