Primary job duties include engaging with propulsion system development teams to provide support related to basic data management and data analysis of high speed data acquired from engine and component level testing of advanced propulsion systems. Data management shall include acquiring, converting, processing, and packaging high speed data from propulsion system testing, as well as reviewing and verifying the results.
In addition, will provide hardware support related to the Multi-Channel Integrated Dynamic Data Acquisition System (MIDDAS) and the Real-Time Vibration Monitoring System (RTVMS) during engine and component level testing. You will also provide MIDDAS and RTVMS hardware and software maintenance, software enhancements and implement hardware upgrades on an as needed basis, as well as provide operational support of these two systems - including system installation and setup, operation during test, and validation and delivery of test data.
BS degree from an ABET accredited institution in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience.
