The MCEITS Program of Record (POR) provides the capability to host manage, or provision legacy systems and future Marine Corps applications and data services. The MCEITS infrastructure supports consolidation while providing high availability/continuity/disaster recovery (HA/C/DR) systems and operations. MCEITS provides a secure, collaborative, net-centric information sharing framework to enable the integration of products, services and users.

    Responsibilities

    The candidate will provide database administration services in support of the Marine Corp Data Center data migration. Some tasking will involve weekend and after hours work during app migration events (approximately 5-7 weekends with flexing schedule so off during weekdays for these events).
    Some travel will be required for 3-4 weeks.

    Qualifications

    Education: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology. Experience: Ten (10) years of experience in relevant technical field, that may include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements.

    Minimum 10 years of related experience.

     

    Must have or be able to obtain security clearance.
