    Responsibilities

    • Analyze and define problems, develop requirements for complex web-based systems, and lead development and integration efforts
    • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
    • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
    • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
    • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

    Qualifications

    • Required Skills:

      • Five (5) years of relevant Software Development experience
      • Strong knowledge of .NET web framework
      • Proficient in C# with demonstrated experience developing web-based applications
      • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with SharePoint
      • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience developing SharePoint Web Parts
      • Experience developing in JavaScript and CSS
      • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
      • Experience configuring IIS 7/8 to support web applications
      • Must have significant, hands-on experience with Agile software development.
      • Skill for writing reusable libraries
      • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
      • Knowledge of concurrency patterns
      • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
      • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
      • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
      • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
      • Self-starter, resourceful, detail oriented, with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to organize and adapt to changing priorities
      • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills to include patience, flexibility, consideration, discretion, tact, and confidence
      • Ability to work effectively both independently and in small groups

       

      Preferred Requirement:

      • Experience in Active Directory integration
      • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and the use of Views, Stored Procedures, and Functions
      • Knowledge of PowerShell scripting
      • Experience with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence systems
      • Experience working with Department of Navy/Commander Naval Installations Command Anti-Terrorism, Force Protection and Emergency Management Common Operational Picture tools
      • Experience with JavaScript frameworks to include Angular, React, and Vue
      • Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) App Builder or equivalent certification/training

       

      Education Requirement:

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
      • Must possess a current CompTIA Security + certification or obtain one as a contingency of employment
      • Must have or complete the training requirements for a DoD IAT2 credential within 4 months of employment

       

     

    Must have or be able to obtain DoD Secret level security clearance.
